Volunteer
We offer a wide range of local volunteering opportunities to help us deliver on our mission of building homes, building hope. We rely on our volunteers to help us operate our ReStore, a retail outlet that accepts donated goods and sells them to the public at heavily discounted prices, helping fund the building of our homes, and to help us build homes, giving a hand up to qualified, hard-working families in Essex County.
Age requirements
The minimum age is 16.
Volunteers between the ages of 16 and 17 will be required to have a chaperone (21+) to volunteer at a build site and may be limited to what work they can complete on-site and what sites are available. To volunteer at the ReStore, they should contact our Volunteer Coordinator for availability and chaperone policy.
