Welcome Kevin Moore!
A Note from Kevin Moore:
I’m incredibly happy to be here and excited to join the Essex County Habitat for Humanity team. Although I’ve only been here a bit over a week, I’ve already been impressed by the dedication, passion, and commitment of the staff and volunteers who make this organization what it is.
I’m looking forward to getting out into the community, learning more about the needs, and building relationships with our partners in the cities and towns we serve.
Today, as homeownership becomes increasingly out of reach for so many of our neighbors, I’m excited to roll up my sleeves to help families turn their hopes for a stable, affordable home into reality.
My vision for Essex County Habitat is one of growth, partnership, and innovation. I hope we can build on the strong foundation this organization has created over the past 40 years and find new ways to expand our impact—building and repairing more homes, reaching more communities, and helping more families achieve the stability and opportunity that affordable homeownership provides.
I’m grateful for the warm welcome I’ve received so far, and I’m looking forward to getting to know all of you and getting to work together.
Kevin Moore

We're making a difference in Cape Ann: We will soon be rehabbing the Forbes School House on Washington Street in Gloucester and converting it into 3 affordable homes for 3 hard-working, low-income families to purchase. But we need funding.
Winning a donation from BankGloucester would help make the project a reality.
We'd also like to recognize the following organization that offered support:
We are honored to have received two grants from the Cummings Foundation - both made at the recommendation of people in important roles in the Foundation's leadership and governance. Thank you!
Only two weeks until the Building Dreams Gala!
Don't miss this opportunity to celebrate with us on September 24!
Not only will we honor Stuart Johnson with the Keystone Partner Award and TruNorth Bank with the Community Builder Award, but we'll also introduce our new Executive Director Kevin Moore.
The evening will begin with cocktails and conversation, followed by passed hors d’oeuvres and waterfront dining. Guests will then gather for an inspiring program and live auction in support of Essex County Habitat for Humanity’s work to expand access to affordable housing.
Help open doors and build dreams by purchasing your tickets or tables today!
We were so happy to see all who attended the Volunteer Appreciation party at the Riverwalk Brewery in Newburyport last month. It was just a small token of our gratitude for all the work you all do to keep our organization running! We truly couldn't do it without you!
Join the Fall Donation Drive as we celebrate Second Hand September all month long.
Part of the month long festivities will include a donation drive on Saturday, September 19, from 10am - 1pm in the back parking lot of the Essex County Habitat ReStore.
Just drive through and we'll collect your donations of homegoods, metal, children's items, and books! Start collecting your new or gently used items for reuse/resale and your scrap metal for recycling now. Then drop them off on September 19!
The Habitat ReStore is located at 647 Andover Street in Lawrence, just off I93, Rte 114 and Rte 28 and is open from 10am - 5pm Tuesday through Saturday. Every purchase and donation supports our mission of bringing people together to build homes, community and hope.
