Corporate Team Building days
In April, Pimental Construction employees joined us to help paint and install decking at the Lawrence homes and Avalon Bay staff installed railings on the front porches. These folks felt like they contributed to the future of the two homebuyer families and the business has been recognized as having helped build the homes on signage at the site.
Corporate Team Building days are really picking up at our build sites this spring. When employees get together offsite, to help build a family-in-need's home, it can be a really impactful bonding experience.
As Seth Kipp from Watts Water Technologies, who participated in a Corporate Team Build last year, explained "We were all fish out of water and outside our element. But because we were co-dependent, we quickly learned how to work together, one holding the board, while the other sawed. It was a great way to get to know each other outside the office."
Habitat build days offer hands-on opportunities to build permanent, affordable housing and are an excellent way to bring a team together for a positive, interactive, in-person team building experience.
