Skilled Construction Volunteers

Periodically our projects require specific skilled tradespeople. The Bixby Building, converting a building built in 1908, is one of those unique projects for Essex County Habitat for Humanity. The complexity of the project presents an opportunity for skilled tradespeople to help us.

Specifically, we are looking for the following skills:

  • Electricians (Master and Journeyman)
  • HVAC Technicians
  • Carpenters
  • Painters
  • Site supervisors and crew supervisors

The work we are doing on the condominium units at 100 Parker Street in Lawrence includes completing the electrical wiring, install HVAC units, and carpentry work, including but not limited to, framing carpentry, finish carpentry, and installing drywall, cabinets, doors, and windows.

Build days are weekly Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, 8:30-4:00 p.m.
