We aim to provide organizations of all shapes and sizes with different ways to engage with and give back to their community. Every volunteer and every dollar truly make a difference! Our community partnership opportunities are as follows:
DIY

Do-It-Yourselfer - FREE

  • Up to 1 volunteer work day* (up to 12 volunteers per day)
  • Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Required. How much money can your team raise for affordable housing?

Apprentice

Apprentice - $25/per person

  • Up to 1 volunteer work day* (up to 12 volunteers per day)

Builder

Builder - $50/per person

  • Up to 1 volunteer work day* (up to 12 volunteers per day)
  • Includes donuts and coffee
  • Includes lunch
Site Supervisor

Site Supervisor - $75/per person

  • Up to 1 volunteer work day* (up to 12 volunteers per day)
  • Includes donuts and coffee
  • Includes lunch
  • Includes a co-branded t-shirt
Construction Manager

Construction Manager - $1000 - $5,000

  • Up to 1 volunteer work day* (up to 12 volunteers per day)

  • Includes a co-branded t-shirt
  • Includes marketing and recognition

Why is there a cost associated with the program? It takes both volunteer labor and financial support to keep Essex County Habitat for Humanity homes affordable for local hardworking families. The cost to build a new Essex County Habitat home (without accounting for volunteer labor) is approximately $150,000-$180,000. Without volunteers AND corporate partners, like you, Essex County Habitat for Humanity would not be able to help as many families in need of a hand-up. Your financial support truly matters as we work to change lives and strengthen neighborhoods.
